Re-found Reptiles in New Mexico.

In southwestern of New Mexico, along the shores of the Gila River, scientists of the BioPark Zoo in Albuquerque have just found three species of northern Mexican gartersnakes; the reptiles, untill they finding, were suspected as extincted in the State.

Later in a mouth, other biologists found an additional three of the rare snakes; two females end a male. The three has been brought back to Albuquerque's Zoo, in order to increase the population after its releasing in the wild again.

2 anni di impegno operativo - 120 corsi di alfabetizzazione - 8000 cittadini over60 coinvolti in due anni - 1 modulo didattico dedicato alla salute on line - 1500 - 6 eventi sul territorio - 6 regioni coinvolte - 47 scuole dove si sono svolti i corsi - 240 docenti impegnati nell'attività - 66 postazioni multifunzione attivate presso i circoli anziani coinvolti nel progetto - 6 scuole officine del recupero....questo solo alcuni dei numeri del progetto.

Biggest virus than ever!

It's about one micron in lenght, an authentic record, since a common virus particle can reach only 50 or 100 nanometres. These two sweet cubs, Anzac the kangaroo and Peggy the wombat, of both only 5 months, play together at Wildabout Wildlife Rescue Center di Kilmore, Victoria. Their moms were killed by car accidents, but biologists will try to integrate the cubs in nature again.

Ancient Mystery Solved.

Near the summit of Volcano Llullaillaco in Argentina, three Inca mummies were found so well preserved that they allowed to put a light about they death.

Rabbits are small mamals in the Leoporidae family and are found in many parts of the world. This family includes well eight different genera of rabbits, such as European rabbit and cottontail rabbit.

Rabbit's habitat can be represented by meadows, forests, grasslands, deserts or wetlands. In each of theese landscapes, evolution has created a more adapted rabbit specie which can better survive in it, featured by own DNA genotype and phenotype. In their habitat, rabbits live in groups, and the best known specie, the European rabbit, digs underground burrows.

The last missing 10% of the genome has just localized thanks to a research kept on Latins' DNA study, the genes sequence which is needed to complete the mapping of human genome.

Researchers at Havard Medical School and the Broad Institute in the U.S., have discovered the "hiding" of 20millions base pairs of the life code, by using a mathematical model, developed by the same researchers, to fill missing pieces of the puzzle.

New radioactive spillage at Fukushima nuclear power plant: the consequences in the environment.

Fukushima Daichii nuclear power plant, Japan, had been struck down by seaquake following the violent earthquake which shaken the Country, in 2011. Since there, amounts of radioactive matter was released in the ground, Ocean and atmosphere from the damaged nuclear power plant.

The radioactive leak at Fukushima seems to don't have ended. In these days, the TEPCO ( Tokyo Electric Power), the company which deals the power plant, has discovered that 300 tons of highly radioactive water has leaked from a holding tank into the ground during the last month.
