Disguising a nano-particle from food to kill the malignant cell of B-cell Lymphoma.

This is the idea of researchers at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago, who used a nano-particle killer,coated of cholesterol type HDL, to starve and kill cancer cells. In fact, when the particles come into contact with the tumor cells, is confused as food from them, while in reality act by blocking the absorption of cholesterol and, in this way, the harmful cells die of hunger.
