The pancreas produces and sets free digestive enzymes into the bile duct, through the pancreatic duct. Pancreatic enzymes are being classified into:
lipase: which decay lipids
carbohydrases: which decay sugars and starch
nuclease: which decay nucleic acids
proteolytic enzymes: which consist in a group of enzymes that split macromolecules; protease which reduce proteins into aminoacids and peptidase which convert small proteic chains into aminoacids.
