For the first time, a researchers team have isolated adult stem cells from Human intestine tissue. Another step forward will allow to scientists to explore new approaches aim to intestinal inflammatory deseases treatment or to improve chemotherapy and radiotherapy side effects, which could damage intestine.

Responsable of this discovery are researchers of North Carolina University (USA).
