After being treated in a rehabilitation center for animal, Wounda was brought to the Tchindzoulou Island, a protected area in Congo. When the cage, in which the monkey was closed, is opened, Wounda gave an affecting hug to Jane Goodal, the British ethologist who saved her.
The woman is one of the most important ethologists in the world and she founded a no-profit organizzation that courrenty works to protect and save its two hundred animals.
